Greenpeace blocked petrol stations in the Netherlands

Greenpeace has shut down 50 Shell petrol stations in the Netherlands in a protest against the company’s plans to drill for oil in the North Pole. Activists blocked fuel hoses and used giant toy polar bears to hinder the entrance, the environmentalists message is to “Protect the north pole”. Firefighters had to intervene in petrol stations. This is not the first time Greenpeace takes similar actions against Shell, the ecological bears protested for months on several stations in England and Scotland.
