Chaski Fest posters around the world
“Chaski fest” Festival of conscious art was founded by David Jaramillo, bassist of the band Dr. Krapula and Hector Buitrago, leader of the band Aterciopelados and ConHector. Both wanted to contribute to the causes of the World Conscious Pact encouraging musicians and other artists to be Ambassadors of Universal Love. Later on, Jay Radhe, a leading musician in the band L’mar, joined the founders’ team as International Director.
Knowing that every artist is an opinions maker, and therefore a key element in society, his/her importance does not reach its peak, until an artist is aware of what he/she promotes. Chaski, a word of Quechua origin which literally means “who gives what he receives”, thus the artists in the Chaski-Fest are messengers, who are convinced that their mission is to share the love and awareness, which they have cultivated through their own experiences.
Chaski Fest around the World
The Chaski Fests gather on stage conscious artists of different disciplines such as dance, music, painting, crafts, poetry, etc., who make their art with a positive and proactive message. In these festivals we will always find environmental information, seminars, workshops and vegan or vegetarian catering.
Chaski Fests can have large or small audiences, because any artist wishing to offer their art at the service of Mother Earth, can organize Chaski Fest festivals, following the recommendations of the manual available on its Website.
